Dada Supreme Sneakers Presents: CODE M

From Dada Footwear.com

Code M

From the people who brought you the spinning rim sneakers (and yes they even put out enough colorways that any team from any school could have found their colors) has something new for you… sneakers with speakers.

Now this news has to be as maaaaad old as the cheese in my refrigerator (you know, the one with the mold on it) but its new to me! It also doesn’t seem that many sneaker blogs have made it a topic to talk about but allot of tech blogs were all over this>

I mean just look at what we are talking about here. It is a sneaker that is pushing the envelope (I am sure some would say its pushing the envelope of taste) and I think it should get some props for doing that.

I am not sure what it would be like to workout in these sneakers or to play ball in them, but the idea is still very interesting to say the least.

Here is a quote from the website on the creation of these sneaks:

According to Willis, the development of the Code M System came from personal frustration which became inspiration. “Like many great ideas, this one grew out of my frustration with existing products on the market. I love to work out to music but also want to be able to track my heart rate, pace, miles run, etc. When hiking, I’d like to be able to find my way, know the altitude and time. When I’m most busy, I frequently need instant access to my phone even when working out. Wouldn’t it be great to have one device to do it all? Simple concept, but not such a simple feat. Currently, no one item on the market can do it all. That is until now. With Code M, all of these devices can be consolidated. As a music delivery system in its present form, the user will have a wireless headset, and an electronic device integrated into shoes. Hands free working out, hands free living with access to music and, later, to all types of data.

Wow… just wow. From the looks of the website, it would seem that these sneakers are already on sale. I have not seen them anywhere, but then again I really wasn’t looking for Dada sneakers. From what’s on the website, they have some nice colorways. I will always like the “real” wood look even though it is something that is very hard to wear matching clothes with.

On a side note… the ladies sneakers on the site look pretty nice.

Anyway, back to the Code M’s, they are water proof, plays about 50 songs, battery life of 3 hours, and if someone else has the sneakers you can listen to there music too. Can you imagine the while court blasting te same tune or better yet playing “We Are The Champions” at the end of a game?

By the way… is this the CEO of DADA? Wow, shes hot!
