Jezign and The Bubble Cloud: Its Got Lights!!! Part II

YouTube Poster

I never saw this video… now I really wish I bought me a pair!

They still at Finishline though, but not that any sizes left…

Price: 149.99

Not too many sizes left. Only one other colorway version left
(out of 3 total originally on Finishline)

I actually don’t remember just how I found out about these sneakers other than just browsing FinishLine like I usually do (just for kicks… LOL get it????) but I am glad I found them. Now yeah, you will say “this is LA Gear on steroids” but I actually think these sneakers look good. And the hightops look fabulous. the video above is the first time I actually saw the high tops close up.

The biggest unique thing about them is how the light actually lights up the bottom of the sneaker. The actual “rubber that hits the road” gum of the sneaker. so not only do you get the glow from the Nike like bubble, you get a translucent glow from the very bottom of the sneaker too.

I also have the black with blue light Night Eagle. I love these shoes. People are always like, what are those? They’re mad hot and where can they get them. I especially like rocking them to the club; I get mad love from the ladies and that’s what it’s all about. Not to mention, they even go with my car because I’ve got blue lights on the undercarriage of the car and when I step out of it with matching shoe! That joint looks so nice. Also, I really like the fact that the on/off push button looks like a design on the shoe you can’t even tell it’s there. I can’t wait for the next batch to come out

If you got a motorcycle and don’t have these sneakers, you just not up on your game LOL. This thing is PERFECT for bikes. And bikes (along with skateboards…) have increased in popularity as of late.

With all of that said, these are some extremely expensive sneakers as far as I am concerned. They are not Nikes (although… I bet much like Ice Cream’s are made by Reebok, I bet Nike has something to do with this…or some other larges sneaker company) , they are not Bapes, they are not Greedy Genius… so how do you saw to yourself, “I’m going to spend 150 bucks on these! No problem!”???

Another little tid bit about Jezign is that its creators hail from a site that I have been ignoring for the past 4 months or so (so sorry) and that is Kicks Guide.

The Jezign Bubble Cloud line lights up in the dark with a push of a button. Their are hitting stores in July 2007 and Finishline is currently carrying them online. It is a bit of a shocker to see a $150 price tag that isn’t Nike/Jordan but these shoes and the lights can definitely grow on you the more you look at them. Our very own Ryan Holler designed them. What is your take?

Many comments on this sneaker… and they are mostly positive. The comments on Finishline are rather positive too except for one:

“i got a pair and they’re not anything special. its a nice casual shoe and they might attract attention but it reminds me of L.A. Lights brand from back in the day which were cheap. its kind of a cliche shoe like bape or ice creams because they’re overpriced but doesnt give you much in value except some blinkers at the bottom that really should be for little kids.”

I’ll admit while I hated on them for a minute (exactly one minute to be more accurate), I grow to really like them. Now I wish I bought a pair (it was either this or the Air Jordan 11 low of which I still haven’t bought)

On KickGuide, the designer of the sneaker himself answers some people questions about the sneaker. You might want to take a look over there to see what I mean.

Overall, I think this sneaker line has some real potential. LA Gear had its shine, but I actually think that Jezign has more of an element of grown AND sexy in it (not totally, but its there) so it should be able to appeal easily to adults.

One thing though… PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THEM BLINK. If these sneakers start blinking, I will start a hater club on these things. No blinking, no flashing… maybe MAYBE an  dim to bright to dim cycle but that is as close to blinking Jezign should get.
