Finishline: Air Jordan Men’s Retro XIII/X Collezione Package
What the hell is a “Collezione”?
Looks like the Air Jordan Countdown Pack: 10 + 13 has come… AND GONE today. I knew they were limited, but it turns out that they were more limited than the usual limited (but less than the ultra limited UNC flavored ones). Each place that got them only got 2 or 3 of every size… that just seems lame and I hope its not true. A good idea to make it limited, but lame that it is so limited.
Well, at least it isn’t just 23 stores (mostly in a few areas around the US), it was in every store that has a lifestyle account. Eastbay has them… but only for the kids… and they are sold out already… and only 2 per customer if they had any.
Finishline had them, but they are gone too. Check out there description:
This instant collector’s item was created to celebrate the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan Signature footwear line. This first package includes the Air Jordan Retro 10 and the Air Jordan Retro 13, both in original colorways.
Finishline usually does better than that in thier descriptions, but then again maybe it didn’t need describing. Eastbay practically wrote a paper on them (remember, the decription is for the kids… I couldn’t even find the adult ones their):
The Jordan Collezione 13/10 offers double the style that parents have come to expect from Brand Jordan. This two-pack of shoes commemorates the legacy of the Air Jordan franchise, and includes the Jordan Retro X and the Jordan Retro XIII — the ultimate Jordan shoes for champions in the making. The Jordan Retro X blends exceptional cushioning, stability, comfort and fit in a lightweight, mid-cut basketball shoe. A full-grain leather and nubuck upper with a Dynamic-Fit™ sleeve offers a superior fit. Gore-Tex® reinforces the eyestays, and the sockliner is made of durable polyurethane. It also has a Phylon™ midsole with a full-length Air-Sole® unit. The solid rubber outsole contains anatomically correct flex grooves for excellent traction. The Jordan Retro XIII is constructed with an EVA-backed, full-grain leather upper with suede trim and a unique hidden lacing system. There is a low-profile, suede-wrapped Phylon™ midsole with heel and forefoot Zoom Air™ units. Other features include a midfoot carbon fiber composite plate and a solid rubber outsole with herringbone pods and Optimal Motion pattern.
Oh and do not forget, these are collectibles. I am sure someone out there put them on their feet and is wearing them right now. Unless you bought 2 pair or just don’t care at all, you will not wear them.
Not my favorite pack though… I’m waiting for the 14 + 9 and especially the 16 + 7 . The 22 + 1 will also be a treat, but a brother has to stay on budget, plus their are other Jordans to get including the Air Jordan Force 5 Fusion, AJ 15 SE and AJ 14.5.
